Now that the season is coming to an end, winter opening times are in operation.

This means the museum is shut on Monday and Tuesday and open every other day from 11am to 4pm.

When we visited the Maritime Heritage Museum in Scarborough we found a huge range of amazing information about the history of boats.  There was a huge lightbulb that was used at the local lighthouse.  If you are a kid there were challenge sheets with quizzes to keep you entertained.

All in all, a quaint, charming little museum that is worth a visit on a dreary day in Scarborough.  It is made all the better for being FREE!!!
